"Zukunftstag" at Peiner Träger GmbH

26.04.2024 | Peiner Träger GmbH

The "Zukunftstag“, also known as Girls' and Boys' Day, offers young people the opportunity to take a look at different professional fields and gain initial experience. At Peiner Träger GmbH, this was a complete success on 25 April. 27 girls and boys aged 12 and over took part in this special day with great enthusiasm.

The participants were given exciting insights into our production processes during a rally through the steel mill and the mill for heavy sections.

One of the highlights that day was the opportunity to make their own steel workpiece. The ‘mobile phone chair’, a practical accessory for everyday use, was created with a great deal of creativity and expert guidance.

Katharina Tarnowski, responsible for vocational training, summarised the day positively: "As in previous years, the places for participants of the "Zukunftstag“ were quickly filled. We are pleased about the great interest and the opportunity to familiarise young people with the enthusiasm for steel. The Future Day at Peiner Träger GmbH was hopefully an unforgettable experience for everyone.“
